This series was created using analog techniques. The negatives were developed using custom techniques involving painting.
These physical alterations allow me to depict a series of portraits which have almost lost their shadows.
The optical solarization of the negative also develops questions about those who are stigmatized because of their gender, sexual orientations and identities.
Light seem to go through them just as society tries to make them invisible.
